A wonderful 04 bedroom cottage surrounded by a picturesque landscape with sprawling fruit orchards and the simplest most wonderful marvels of Mother nature: almost like the painting that all of us have drawn as children.
Located in Raison, a small cluster of villages on the banks of River Beas, about 12 kms north of Kullu and about 28 kms from Manali, Hushstay x Hygge House is a 04 bedroom luxury farm stay cottage situated in a private estate that boasts of many exotic fruits like cherries, nectarines, mariposa plums, frontier plums, kiwi, apricots, peaches, and persimmon alongside apples and pomegranates.
At Hushstay x Hygge House, there is never a dull moment, every glimpse of the outdoors is a like a moving scenery.

Let our staff take you on a guided nature walk through the orchards around the estate. We’d like you and your family to connect with the farm and experience firsthand the whole journey right from plantation to pollination and then harvest. It would be our pleasure to introduce you and your family to farm life.
THE SPACE
At Hushstay x Hygge House we have made sure that, as our guests, you have everything you need for the perfect mountain escape with friends and family. Inside the 04 bedroom cottage, you will find that the interiors have been meticulously done up keeping simplicity in mind and yet there is a distinct character to the decor and the elements of the house.
The common living cum dining room is made of large windows that offer a 180-degree view of the surrounding orchards. While cooked meals are available on request, a fully functional kitchen with all modern appliances and basic cooking essentials adjoining the living area offers guests a chance to cook for themselves.
The living area opens up to a large verandah that overlooks the surrounding orchards and is the perfect place to admire the sunrise, read a book or sip your morning coffee.
All 04 rooms have en-suite bathrooms and have been designed in a way that they offer great views and all modern comforts.
THE ROOMS
The 04 Bedrooms (Tulip, Iris, Daffodil and Bluebell) have been named after flowers that grow on the property and each room has a distinct character and decor:
Tulip, located on the ground floor is the largest room of them all and has large floor to ceiling windows with gorgeous orchard views.
Iris is the second room on the ground floor and is the second largest room with large windows on either side as well as window seats.
Daffodil and Bluebell on the first floor have a vaulted ceiling and each one has large windows offering panoramic mountain views. While Daffodil has a day bed by the window, Bluebell has twin beds instead of a double bed and can be used as a children's room.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING
Meals:

A full breakfast is included in the tariff. Lunch / Dinner are available on prior notice.

Both Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian home-cooked options are available at INR 700 per person per meal. Guests may also bring their own raw material and make use of the in-house kitchen at an additional cost of INR 1000 per day.

We do not provide room service. Meals are only served in the dining room or alfresco in the garden.

We follow a strict no smoking policy inside the house since a lot of wood has been used for the interiors. You may ask the caretaker for an ashtray and smoke outside the house if you need to.

Pets are not allowed.

Please respect your surroundings since the property is set in the midst of an orchard. Do not pluck the flowers / fruits or disturb wildlife here.

Nearest Railway Station – Chandigarh is the nearest railway station by virtue of its connectivity and number of trains. The remaining journey needs to be covered by rental cars which easily available.

Nearest Airport: Bhuntar, 23 kms away. Rental cars are readily available here too.

Delhi, about 550 kms away.
Chandigarh, 285 kms away.
Mandi, 85 kms away. -
Parking for a maximum of four cars is available in our private car park. Should guests chose to avail this facility, car keys may be deposited at the house.
Accommodation:

This 04 bedroom place is offered exclusively to only one group at a time, the tariff remains the same for up to 06 guests. We will offer extra mattresses at an additional cost if you are a group of more than 08 guests

Please note that like any other home in the mountains, we do not have an air-conditioner at the property. Hushstay x Hygge House has been designed in such a way that there is proper wind circulation if the windows are opened in the afternoon.

We want you to enjoy the outdoors; which is why there are no TV’s in the rooms. We have a common TV in the living room.

Please refrain from using bottled water as fresh purified water is available at all times.

We can arrange room / bedding for staff on prior notice. Driver accommodation is available within a 2 km radius. Kindly inform the hosts in advance if you have any staff accompanying you. We do not allow staff to use the cottage rooms.

Cancellation Policy:

Date of booking - 31 days before arrival : 25 % cancellation fee on the total booking amount

30 Days - 15 Days : 50 % cancellation fee on the total booking amount
